First Meet with Spike Bus! - Julia
Published by
This weekend I had the pleasure of working aboard the Spike Bus at the Mayor's Cup at Icahn Stadium! I spent most of my time working at the Customization Station, where athletes were able to purchase shirts and bags and pick out graphics to press on them. I love the Customization Station because there's really nothing else like this anywhere else and it allows athletes to get creative with gear that they can sport at practice and events. Apparently the athletes loved it too, because we had tons of people try it out at the meet. I enjoyed seeing the athletes mix and match graphics and colors to come up with unique designs, which we took polaroid pictures of and are now on display on our wall of fame! Athletes should definitely come and check out the station this upcoming weekend at New York Relays at Icahn Stadium! We'll be out there both Friday and Saturday, and I am getting really excited to see what the athletes at this meet will come up with! I have a feeling that as the season goes on we'll be seeing more and more creative gear at each event :) Last, but certainly not least... A little birdie told me that there's is going to be some killer new graphics that make their debut at Penn Relays! I don't know about you, but I am counting down the days til the Penn Relays Nike Spike Bus Spectacular!!! T - 9 Days! Aghhhhh! :)
